Casey Trees Community Planting at Tregaron Estate

Please come to a Community Tree Planting Event Sponsored by Casey Trees at Tregaron Estate along open Klingle Road on Saturday, April 5th from 9 am to 12 pm

Join your friends & neighbors as we begin to replant the landscape. Casey Trees requires volunteer tree planters to arrive promptly at 9 am for training. Other volunteers are needed for spring clean-up throughout the Estate. For this, please bring pruners and gloves.

Snacks, beverages & pizza provided.

We invite all bird watching enthusiasts to walk the trails of Tregaron Estate and record your sightings.  Contact us at info(at)tregaronconservancy.org if you identify a species to add to our list.  Help us identify how rich an environment for birds our undisturbed 13 acres adjacent to Rock Creek Park really is.  Our list already includes:

Tufted Titmouse, Carolina Chickadee, Blue Jay, Northern Flicker, Carolina Wren, European Starling, Mourning Dove, American Robin, Downy, Woodpecker, White-throated Sparrow, Northern Mockingbird, Great Blue Heron, Red-tailed Hawk.
